
Based in Walyalup / Fremantle, Western Australia, Sarah is an independent performer, producer and multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, film and community arts.
With over 20 years professional experience, she has performed & collaborated with local major theatre companies including Barking Gecko Theatre, Black Swan State Theatre , Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and Perth Festival.
She was a lead puppeteer in National Theatre's globally renowned stage adaptation of War Horse and has extensive international touring experience performing for The Last Great Hunt across North America, Japan and South Africa, alongside performing for UK’s leading full mask theatre company Vamos, touring across UK & Europe.
Sarah is the creator of the award-winning film portraiture project Mobile Moments and recently received a PAWA nomination for ‘Outstanding Performer in a Leading Role’ for her performance in Unheimlich (PICA, 2021)
She recently starred in the hit web series Out of Here, and her debut main stage production ‘Into the Fog’ is currently in development with support from PICA and Minderoo Foundation as a 2025 Artist Fund Recipient.
Sarah is an advocating artist and producer supporting marginalised and vulnerable voices through immersive, informative and affecting projects and programs.
With an extensive history working in community and disability arts since 2007, Sarah has always been a champion for accessibility and social change through the arts. When her own health and functioning capacity was abruptly disrupted in 2020, her purpose and capacity to continue working has been deeply challenged and reevaluated.
As an artist adapting to life with chronic illness, Sarah is evolving her practice to advocate further for greater accessibility and sustainable practices in the arts sector through producing projects that sit at the intersection of arts, health and social political change.
Sarah currently works part time for the City of Fremantle as Producer of Truth Telling programs and events, alongside continuing her work as a mentor and collaborator with artists living with disabilities.
